Show Sheriff Brown went to Clear Creek on the 9:26 R. G. W. train this morning, morn-ing, in response to a telegram lrorn Conductor Murray asking the sheriff to come up, aad stating that a brakeinan by the name of Ward had been stabbed. No further particulars were known around the sheriff's office. -A ncmber of our young cyclists went to Salt Lake city yesterday and returned re-turned last night - that is some of them did. They all had a pleasant trip and enjoyed the reception given them by their Salt Lake collegues, and some were not able to tear themselves away from their friends till today. Photographs of the Parker, Franklin Frank-lin and Timpanogos schools are on exhibition at Anderson's photograph gallery. GroUDS of teachers and children chil-dren are seen on the grounds under the shade trees, producing a very pleas-iDg pleas-iDg effect. The pictures are works of art and cannot fail to create a favorable favor-able impression in regard to our educational educa-tional status at the meeting of the .National .Na-tional Teachers' association in Denver next month, where they will be eent. |
