Show A TKIAN OS BLOOD. Carter of the Commoswialsn Say His Army Will Have One or the Other Will Leave Salt Lake County Tomorrow. A special telephone . message from Salt Lake at 4 p. m today says that Carter, leader of the commonwealers, has just got through with a harangue before a crowd of curious listeners on a vacant square. In his remarks Carter Car-ter said that his army would have a train or spill human blood. The men were getting desperate. Food and provisions pro-visions had been promised them by the people of American Fork, and if they did not succeed in getting a train tonight to-night (Friday) or tomorrow morning they would march afoot to that city and camp their Saturday Sat-urday night and get their larder replenished before making the final desperate . struggle to captrre a train. - The army is camped all along the line of the R. G. W. track from Sandy very near to Salt Lake. |
