Show A. B. Emery's Death. The minutes of each session of the new board of directors of the teni-torial teni-torial insane asylum have recorded the ab'eneeofUon Albion B.Emery of Park City, a member cf that board. The cause of this absence is that Mr. Emery has been ill for some time, his complaint being Bright'e disease of the kidneys. Some time ago he went to Honolulu, accompanied by his wife, in the hope of improving bis health. He arrived in San Francisco on his way home on May 10th, and after that time his condition was precaiious, the advices ad-vices from his bedside being tuch as to prepare his f rrends for the wcrst. Now comes the rews of bis death in a brief teletrram from San Fiancisco under yesterdav's date as follows: 'A1 passed away at 2 o'clock this morning. Leave for Salt Lake Thursday afternoon." after-noon." . The deceased was but forty-eight years of age, a wealthy mining man, and was ppeaker of the house of the late territorial legislature. Hie death is deeply mourned for he had a great hold on the hearts of people of all classes who knew bim. |
