Show l or Sleeplessness. If persons troubled with sleeplessness would keep at hand a bottle of the following fol-lowing mixture and use it as a sponge bath, they would find the greatest relief: Into 8 ounces of alcohol put 2 of ammonia ammo-nia and 2 of camphor. Shake thoroughly, thorough-ly, and when well mixed add 4 ounces of sea salt and enough hot water to fill a quart bottle. To apply it pour a little of the liquid in a shallow dish, moisten the whole body a little at a time by dipping dip-ping a small sponge in it. Hub on only a very little, then finish with a vigorous vigor-ous rubbing with a coarse crash towel. Get into bed, and you will promptly fall asleep. New York Recorder. |
