Chester Nisonger, plain LilT, vs Jo!in Doe, defendant. To John Doe. whose name is otherwise unknown, un-known, defendant. You are hereby requested to app ar before this court on the 2!)th day of January, A. D. 13i)4. at 4 o'clock p. m. of said day to answer a complaint filed against vou. wherein said plaintiff claims the sum of 81.00 damages caused by yonr animal trespassing on his premises, at Santa juin precinct. Said animal is described as follows, to-vit: One liirht roan hoifer, two or th-ee years old, brandeeia right ribs, crop off each and under bit in right and under slope in left ear. And you are hereby notified that if you fail to appear and answer said complaint at the time and place aforesaid, judgment will be taken against you for $1,00, the amou.it of said damage, the cost of keeping said animal and the costs of this suit.
