The October social was very well attended and enjoyed. We served over 60 senior citizens from the Valley. The roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious and the program was in honor of the Jewish community of Dover and the History of it's settlement. In our recent board and planning meeting, Grant Mogle indicated he was stepping down as president of the Gunnison Valley Senior Citizen Organization, due to the fact that he recently married and now lives in Salina. As Senior Citizens of the Valley, we want to sincerely thank Grant for the great job and service he has given to the seniors of this Valley and wish him well in all he strives to do in the future. Jay Childs was voted by the board to succeed Mogle as president of the Gunnison Valley Senior Citizen Organization, with Mike McMahon as vice president.
