Show Thursday, October 2, 2008 The Gunnison Valley Gazette Page 5 4-H Reading Rainbow The Sanpete County 4-H is sponsoring a reading workshop called “Reading Rainbow.” It will be held on Saturday November 8th at the Ephraim 4th Ward church (751 South 100 East). It will be from 9 am - 12:05 p.m. with the registration from 9-9:30 am. It is for participants from Kindergarten -12th grade. Parents must accompany children ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade. The cost is $2 if you’re not a 4–H member by the day of the workshop. It is free to 4-H members with their membership card (or $1 without card.) To register, call Sanpete County 4-H at 283-7583 or register online at 4hsanpete@gmail.com. Space is limited so register early. Must be pre-registered to attend. The participants will rotate through 4 classes. They will listen to a local storyteller, make whisper phones for themselves and local libraries, make bookmarks and play reading games.
