Varsity lost 11-25, 9-25 and 8-25. BAILIE REYNOLDS, Daughter of Jim and Wendy Reynolds, is a freshman at Gunnison Valley High School. Bailie is a member of the volleyball team as a setter. She was chosen as this weeks Prep Athlete because of her outstanding playing and hustle in last weeks games. Bailie is a natural setter and shows this each time she sets up one of her teammates for a kill. Bailie is very dependable and always has a positive attitude. Only a freshman, Bailie has shown great maturity while playing on the freshman, JV, and Varsity teams. Bailie has shown her abilities to be a quick thinker out on the court, as she will catch the other teams off guard with a quick set or hit over the net. Bailie is a hustler and always gives everything she has out on the court; she is a great example to all her teammates. Bailie is a great player that we are fortunate to have on our team this year. We look forward to three more years with Bailie and are excited to see her continue to help make GVHS volleyball successful. GUY MELLOR is this weeks prep of the week. Guy is a senior this year and is also one of the captains for the football team. He lives in Fayette and he is the son of Neil and Kelly Sue Mellor. Guy just completed basic training for the Army National Guard in Oklahoma. One of Guys strongest qualities is his leadership abilities. He was the platoon guide at basic training. Guy is a student body officer this year. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. Guy is a friend to everyone around him and it shows in his humility and willingness to serve others. Guy is a multi tasker on the field and is capable of playing several different positions for the team. Guy is a strong running back and averages about 3.6 yards a carry and has scored 4 touchdowns this year. Guy is one of those players that make the team a great team this year.
