Activity locations include Union Station, Historic 25th Street, and The Monarch, and the fun continues with stops at the Junction, Washington Blvd., and the Eccles Art Center. A pop-up will be at Weber State Downtown location featuring the Gato Loco project. It is an effort to produce and release unique, creative, and fun design work that can add to the overall image of Weber State University and its iconography. As always, the community is encouraged to use the hashtag #OgdenSharesArt to show the Ogden Arts Community any personal inspiring arts and culture images. Using the hashtag as a virtual option provides an avenue to engage with other artists in Ogden and see the exciting artworks being created. It all started when the Christiansens bought pasture land from Billy Kapp and had it rezoned for commercial use. In November 2005, building began on the addition to the front of the restaurant. With this addition came a new arrangement that incorporated both restaurant booths and tables to better accommodate different sized groups, offering more flexibility to customers. They also added a front reception and waiting area. Several friends have come and gone as part of Eat’s staff. They’ve been appreciated for their hard work and dedication to the business. “We have been fortunate over the years to have employed many great local personalities as servers. Their enthusiasm helped give Eats the friendly atmosphere it’s known for, which continues today. While most patrons do not have the opportunity to meet our kitchen staff, they’ve been, and continue to be, as equally important to our success. These employees are, for the most part, local youth to whom Eats offers a first-time job. While most of them have moved on to college, marriage, military service and other life endeavors through the years, most come back from time to time to say “Hi,” to keep in touch, and to order and enjoy their favorite menu item they’ve missed. Most of the current staff today has been with the restaurant for several years, and we’re very happy to still have them with us. “We are very happy to have had the opportunity over the years to meet new people from all over the world and to see them again as they make a point to stop by each time they come to visit our beautiful Valley. “We thank all those who have supported us through our 30 years in business. It really does take a community to keep small businesses going. Because of this, we would like to encourage everyone to choose local, small businesses, as much as possible, when deciding where to spend your time and resources.” Eats will celebrate their 30th anniversary during the entire month of March with their annual ½-price pizza coupons. Buy any 8”, 12”, or 14” pizza at full price and receive a ½ price pizza coupon for another time.
