He is the son of Michael and Analee Creer and grandson of Ryan and Ruth Creer and Mark and Sharlene Sumsion of Springville. He will speak in the Cambridge Ward at the Benson Building, 275 South 1400 East, Spanish Fork, on Feb. 25 at 9 a.m. Jill Warner Sister Jill Warner has just recently returned from serving an honorable 20 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loves the Lord and has grown to love and cherish the Spanish people from the Chicago Illinois South Mission. She will be speaking in the Meadowlark 2nd Ward at 870 East Canyon Road, on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007 at 9 a.m. She is the daughter of Jeff and Annette Warner. The granddaughter of Glen D. and Margaret Reed H. Warner. Welcome Tanner and Alma and the late home Jill! Benson, Eastman Raschel Dawn Benson and Christopher Daniel Eastman have chosen to be married on Saturday, Feb. 24. A reception will be held that evening from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Springville Art Museum. Parents of the bride are Val and Julie Morris of Springville and Paul and Jeanne Benson of Provo. Parents of the groom are Blake and Denise Eastman of Mapleton. Grandparents of the bride are Dorothy Hurst and the late Paul Hurst of Payson and Brent and Connie Benson of Benjamin. Grandparents of the groom are Jim and Karen Muhlestein of Idaho, Duaine and Sue Paulson of Colorado and Harman and Elayne Eastman of Mapleton. The couple will make their first home in Spanish Fork. Christensen, Smith Rod and Jill Christensen of Salem are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter, Whitney, to Clint Smith, son of Larry and Cindy Smith of Spanish Fork, on Feb. 2, 2007.' Family and friends then celebrated with an evening of dinner and dancing held in their honor at the Magnolia Grove, in Salt Lake City. Clint and Whitney then honeymooned on a cruise to Mexico. Whitney graduated from Spanish Fork High "THe plies to watch a movie School and Mountainland Applied Technology College. She also attended SUU. Whitney works for Dr. Richard Paxton at the Spanish Fork Pediatric Clinic. Clint also graduated from Spanish Fork High School and is a partner with his father in a residential construction business. The newlyweds will be living in Spanish Fork and we wish them the very best. Congratulations, Whitney and Clint! Roy and Jolene Monk The children of Roy and Jolene Hansen Monk are pleased to announce the celebration of their parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Roy and Jolene were married Feb. 21, 1957 in Palmyra. Since that time they have remained there, making Palmyra their home. Later they were sealed in the Manti Temple along with their five children, Clark, LeeAnn, Kevin, Laura and Renae. Roy worked on the family farm and dairy and was an employee of Mt. Bell Telephone, where much of his time was spent on the road. He traveled through much of Utah as a lineman for the company. He retired early from Mt. Bell when it changed to AT&T and then worked as an independent contractor, while still helping to maintain and run the family farm. Today he continues to work the farm, and to keep busy. He is the water master for the West-Field Irrigation Company. Jolene was a stay-athome mom and helped her parents on. their farm as well. She eventually started working outside the home and for many years worked at Glades Drive-In in Spanish Fork. She then worked as the activity director in her ward and later took an assignment as a temple worker in the Provo Temple. In their younger years together, they both were active in building floats for the annual Fiesta Days in Spanish Fork, and eventually went on to build and rent the floats out to other organizations and other parades, where they won various awards for their entries. In recent years, they have been able to travel and have enjoyed various trips to places throughout the United States and abroad. Their most memorable vacation was to the Holy Land. Over the years their family has grown, and mom and dad have become grandparents and greatgrandparents as well as foster parents. They have 15 grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, with one more on the way and one foster child. A family gathering and dinner will be held in their honor at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. Mom and Dad, thanks for all you have done for us over the years and may you continue to have a life that brings you happiness and joy.
