OBITUARIES Daniel B. Frandsen Daniel Bert Frandsen, age 68, peacefully passed away April 26, 2006 in his hometown of Panguitch, Utah. He was born in Panguitch, November 13, 1937 to George Harry and Almina Worthen Frandsen. He married the love of his life, Florence KayeHenrie on May 12, 1962 in the St. George LDS Temple; their love will last for Time andAHEtermty. Dan worked as a heavy,machine operator and mechanic and as a custodianlocally for the LDS Church. He was very supportive and together with his wife, worked hard to build Panguitch Floral. He loved to build and was always willing to get his hands dirty. He had a true love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He served as a missionary in the Denmark Mission. He continued his lifelong missionary service through all of his callings in the church. He was well versed in the scriptures and loved to study them daily. He loved genealogy, church history and working with nature.He had a way of calming and under standing others. He loved his family dearly and they loved him; he was a hero and role model to them and those who know him will miss him greatly. He is survived by his wife, Florence of Panguitch; children, LaCinda (Dean) Higley of Missouri, Daniel (Teresa) Frandsen of Minersville, Jared C. (Melissa) Frandsen of Spanish Fork, Tina Frandsen and David (Cherri) Frandsen both of Panguitch; 15 grandchildren; brothers and sister, Clark (Gwen) Frandsen, Laura Jene (Tom) Gray both of Panguitch and Peter Frandsen of Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the PanguitchJrd LDS Ward Chapel, 200 North 400 East. Friends called at the ward chapel in Panguitch on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial was held in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti. Online guest book, www.maglebvmortuary.com. Ruth Maxine Schermerhorn Ruth Maxine Schermerhorn, 80, of Panguitch, Utah, passed away April 24,2006, in Panguitch. She was born October23,1925, in Newton, Iowa, to Glenn L. And Faye M. Stout Wright. She married Robert A. Schermerhorn, in Huntington Park, California, on November 16, 1943. She is survived by her husband, Robert, Panguitch, Utah; children, Michael (Lynn) Schermerhorn, Huntington Beach, CA; Myra Louise (Ralph) Brink, Santa Ana, CA; Rebecca (Kenneth) Kniesley, MiddleBury, IN; and Tina (Rick) Miner, Panguitch, Utah; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (Vern) Roberts, Anaheim, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandchildren, Terry Lee and Bryan Keith Douglass. Graveside services and interment were held on Monday, May 1, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. in the Newton Union Cemetery.
