Show \ CULTURE • * Come to the Touchstori^s opening social ® By Andy Sherwin Culture Writer Touchstones, UVU's student-run literary journal, is now accepting submissions for its Fall 2010 volume. The journal, which is published at the end of both fall and winter semesters, features the fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, drama and art of UVU students. While each issue is supervised by a creative writing faculty member, the journal is designed, edited and produced entirely by students. It is also possible to participate in Touchstones without submitting original work. The journal is looking for additional staff members. iii P For more information, visit http://Research. UVU.edu/Touchstones or email Touchstones. Journal@Gmail.com "Besides staff for tech editor, dlj editor, prose and poetry editors, we alscppppreciate readers. While readers can stffl^submit, they can't be credited in the curr^t issue, and regular staff members are nofcfcllowed to submit, so that's something to ctjnsider." said Sievers. >3 Readers help go through the submissions and assist editors with deciding whjjli pieces and works will be published in th;a^journal. Called Reading Night, the event tdtfcs place on campus and is a great way to bo$i participate in the production of the journjflj as well as read original student-written woik.
