Show Swiss Days 10K Run Wasatch High School Golf Get ready for the annual Swiss Days 10K Run. The run will take place on Saturday September 4, at 8:00 a.m. Registration and starting points are located at the Midway Town Park. Last year there were over 300 people who participated. The winner of the 1998 Swiss Days 10K run was David Danley of the Wasatch High School Cross- Wasatch High School’s 1999 Golf teams made it first appearance against Spanish Fork High School on Tuesday August 24, at Wasatch State Park. Wasatch team score Country Team. An aerobic warm up will begin that morning at 7:30 a.m. and the race will kick off around 8:00 a.m. Prizes, awards, refreshments and massages are also Probst, Jr. -84, Kasey Yardley, Sr. - 86, and Greg Holmes, Jr. - 86. was “best it’s been in years.” Stated Golf coach Rod Reavely. Wasatch High School Girls Soccer The Wasatch High School Girls Soccer team lost to Pine View High School on Saturday, August 21, with a scoré of 2-4. They came back on Tuesday, August 24, to beat Morgan High School 2-0. Breanna Williams and Deanna Whiting both scored goals in the Morgan match. “We're still making a few player adjustments. Defensively we have an entirely different make up from last year so it will take a few matches to begin working together.” commented Coach Dawain Wheatly. Wasatch season record is 1-2-0. The Lady Wasp’s will start region play Thursday September 2, at Park City - High School. Freshman/sophomore soccer team is 3-0, with wins last week against Lehi 2-1 and Morgan 3-2.
