Real Beauty Secrets seven hours By GLYNIS JOHNS Rpcently I stumbled on one of the best beauty and fashion authorities imaginable. 1 am referring to my constant companion of the last Miranda Johns, two years my Siamese friend. And we have a ladies agreement that she wont think of me as an ordinary human being if I wont think of her as a cat. The result is that we have a most charming relationship, and she has passed on to me her most valuable beauty secrets. She is on the sun deck taking her beauty nap (this is one of the first expressions I learned from her beauty nap, not catnap) ; so 1 will jot down a few of her rules of paw. HER SECRETS 1. Start the day olf looking your best, and never allow yourself to become sloppy or too casual. (Miranda is always up at the crack of dawn and immediately begins bathing herself. Site then proceeds lo her elegant clawing post to make sure that her nails are periectly shaped for the day Glynis Johns nulk with which she occasionally bathes herself especially prepared canned foods containing rare fish, kidneys, and liver.) 4. Exercise daily. (A day never passes that Miranda doesnt take a vigorous romp aiound the block. The obvious lesult of this daily bodily vibration is that she never has to wear foundation garments and receives countless compliments on her figure.) IT) RELAX 5. Sleep at least seven hours a day. (Regardless of her busy schedule, she alwavs has and sleep or, more spven hours of correctly, naps.) 6. Stretch upon awakening in order and before retiring to relax completely. (This is Mirandas most important beauty secnet. She stretches from the tips of her ears to the very end of her tail, then she stretches again. 7. Act and look like a lady, and you'll be treated like one. (She refuses to believe chivalry is a thing of the past and always expects someone to open doors and help her into her evening wrap.) These are hut a few of the beauty tips which I hope you will find as helpful as I have. Inasmuch as they were given in I strictest confidence, would appreciate your not mentioning this article to Miranda should you meet her on one of her daily or nightly in Th SALON WJKJ TT&SflSl :! her Miss Williams win become the bride of Craig Smith in a ceremony to be performed June 2 in the Salt Lake Temple.
