Show f V J ) Evelyn Kiesel - Mr. and Mrs. Duane Shaw and daughter Christina, from Modesto, California visited Labor Day with parents, Dan and Alice Osborn. They also visited Dee and Bernice Lau and Eva Patterson. Mr. and Mrs. Robert williams and Mr. and Mrs. Rocky Williams and family were in Cedar City on Labor Day weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henrie Miller and to attend the baptism of Ben Miller son of Mr. and Mrs. Henrie Miller. Mr. Robert Williams grandfather baptized him and his Uncle Rocky Williams confirmed him. Nelda Jorgensen left August 1 and stopped in Provo and spent the night with Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Jorgensen and then she went on to Lewiston, Utah where she spent the whole month of August visiting at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Jerry Jorgensen. While there she attended a picnic reception of her grandson Mark and Nancy Jorgensen at the Logan Park on August 29. Their wedding was held on August 27 in 529-753- 9 J Hamilton, Montana and his father Bishop Jerry Jorgensen performed the Ceremony. Upon returning home she again stopped and spent the night with Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Jorgensen. Visiting at the home of Mr.and Mrs. Robert Williams has been Mr. and Mrs. Dave Arnold and son Adam of Salt Lake. They spent 2 days here visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Warren R. Jensen attended church in Ax tell for the blessing of their granddaughter Nicole Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Jensen. Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Skaggs and girls of Murray also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jensen. Dinner was severed after at the Ax tell Church. Violet Rasmussen Violet Carline Follctt Rasmussen, age 79 passed away on September 8, 1988 in Gunnison Valley Hospital. She was borne in Centerfield, Utah on September 5, 1909 to Tillman Follett and Annie Marie Nielsen Rasmussen. She married Burton Rasmussen on September 22, 1926 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a housewife and a Cafe owner and operator. She was a member of the LDS Church and held many positions in the Church. Survivors include: husband. Burton Rasmussen; four children, Rhea Larsen, Orem; Leone Rasmussen, Highland; Wendell Rasmussen, South Jordan, and Val Rasmussen, Pleasant Grove. 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one sister, Laura James, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held, Monday, September 12, in the Centerfield Ward Chapel with burial in the Centerfield City Cemetery under the direction of the Warren R. Jensen Funeral home.
