Beginning at 11 a.m. concessions, games and fun will continue throughout the entire day. There will be pie eating contests, food booths, and lots of fun for everyone. The event is sponsored by the Aurora Second Ward Elders. The Aurora Second Ward invites everyone to celebrate the 4th of July with them at the Aurora Park. A Flag Raising Ceremony will be held at the Park at 7 a.m., and will be followed by a Breakfast of bacon, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, orange juice, and milk. Breakfast will be Mini Drill Team Camp set for July 18 - 22 A Camp Review will be presented the last day of the Camp, and will give the girls a chance to perform for the public. June 25, 1988 from 7 to 9 p.m. Missionaries are called to serve Elder Troy Hales pageant Mother-Daught- er beckons area women The MotheiNDaughter Pageant 1989, a two hour nationally syndicated television special to be aired in January 1989, is a fast paced contest for teams of mothers and daughters. The Pageant will feature a minimum of 25 teamsof mothers and daughters from all across the United States. The winning team will earn the right to represent the U.S. in the International pageant. MotheiNDaughter U.S.A. receive over $80,000 in prizes. For the first time Utah residents will have the opportunity of being able to participate. Kay Elli son and daughter Charisse Christiansen have been appointed directors for the state. The Utah MotheiNDaughter Pageant will be held September 10, 1988 in Salt Lake City. Mothers may be any age, married, divorced, widowed. Daughters must be at least 16 by November 1, 1988, and may be single, married, divorced, or widowed.
