June 8. 1988 Colma Haskins was in Salt Lake Saturday to attend the funeral of Ruth Woolsey and also to visit with her sisters, Jackie Browning, Mrs. Edgar Taylor, Mrs. Corrine Gravis and Mrs. Freman Gravis all of Roy. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Woolsey of Sandy was here visiting at the home of Ruth Ewles. Brooke and Carson Pendleton of Orem, spent a week with their grandmother, Viola Larsen. Carol Willardson of Salt Lake was here for the Holiday weekend visiting with Evelyn Kiesel and other friends and relatives. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Crane and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Colby were Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Behumim of Salt Lake; Kathy Home and boys of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Peterson and Kaylen Peterson both of Sandy. A family dinner was held in Richfield with about 18 family members and also Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hales, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hampton, and Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Hampton all of Redmond. Visiting at the home of Clara Colby has been Novola Marshall of American Fork, Bessie Parry, Mr. and Mrs. Max Scroggin and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Colby all of Salt Lake, along with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nielson of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nielsen of Ogden also visited at the home of Geneva Branch. Dr. and Mrs. Randy Burr of Salt Lake was here visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall, Mrs. Zelma Burr, and Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Burr. ( Obituaries ) Calvert Peterson Calvert J. Peterson, age 73, passed away on June 3, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bom on February 8, 1915, in Redmond, Utah to Joseph F. and Josephine Frandsen Peterson. He married Adonna Frandsen, December 14, 1936, in Redmond. He retired from the Continental Baking Company after 33 years. He especially enjoyed his family and his home. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife, son, Don C., daughters, Mrs. Jack (Bernice) Kintz, Mrs. Lonny (Carol Ann) Leavitt, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. David (Kim) Gulbranse, San Diego, California; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry, Redmond, Utah; Vernal Stockton, California; Royal, Murray, Utah; Harold, Salina, Utah; Merrill, Cedar City, Utah; and a sister, Mrs. Blair (Shirley) Curtis, Salina, Utah. Graveside services were held on Sunday, June 5, in the Redmond Cemetery. Charles Nordfelt Jr. Charles Nordfelt, Jr., age 67, of Moab, Utah passed away on June 1, 1988. He was bom on October 23, 1920 to Charles and Ethel Curtis Nordfelt He was a member of the LDS s Visiting Sunday at the home of Mrs. Nelda Jorgensen was her granddaughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Matt Neman of Orem. Leila Crane and Eunice CRane were in Provo one day last week keeping doctor appointments. Mrs. Brent Crane and family of Henderson, Nevada is here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Crane and to help with a surprise Bridal Shower for Melanie Crane which was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Crane. Carol Jacobsen and daughter Teri of Salina, was in Las Vegas last week to attend the High School graduation of Carols nephew Michael Long, son of Bud and Shirley Long. He graduated from Chaparral High school in Las Vegas.
