Show Manti High School Hews by Principal Ivan Rowley As a new school year begins at Manti High School, activities also start anew. The first football game of the season was held last Friday with Manti losing to Moab in overtime As this is written the girls softball team is busily preparing for their first game with Millard. It will be played this Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the 6-- 0. Ephraim Park beginning at 4:00 p.m. Coach Braithwaite will soon begin practice for all girls who would like to participate in the girls tennis team. Activities are many and varied and depend a great deal for financial support from patrons of Ephraim, Manti and Sterling. We also know that we are in competition for that entertainment dollar. With this in mind, Manti High School has developed some packages for yearly passes and season tickets that will be a real savings to the supporters of the Manti High School athletic program. The following are prices tor tne ditterent types of admission tickets to football, boys basketball, and wrestling matches held at Manti High School. Yearly pass (for one), $25.00; Yearly pass (per couple), $45.00; Yearly pass (per family), $60.00. A yearly pass would admit you to all football, boys basketball and wrestling matches held at Manti High School. There is a savings of $5.00 for one person, $15.00 for two and at least $30.00 for a family pass. We will also sell season passes for each individual Manti - Mark Anderson Joins prices. Season Football, $6.00; Season Basketball, $9.50; Season Wrestling, $10.50. We at Manti High School do appreciate your support at our activities. The activities are for the students, but without your help we could not afford to have the programs we now have. One last item for this week is the opening school dance this Friday in the Armory. The dance is being sponsored by the football team.
