In the afternoon Vera Goble and Debbie Carter and two children came from Nephi to visit. Debbie brought a birthday cake and a bouquet of carnations. Vera presented her mother with a pair of drapes. A lunch was served to all and visiting and picture taking was enjoyed by all before they all returned home that evening. Pearl has not been too well all summer, so the visit was really enjoyed. Melvin Olsen from Salt Lake and his sister, Erma O. Reynolds, from Provo spent a pleasant Sunday afternoon with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Olsen. They drove to local areas to do some and were particularly interested in the much publicized, Manti slide area. Ronetta 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Peterson of Kearns was fatally injured in a car accident Saturday morning, in Cottonwood Canyon. Her grandmother, Mrs. LeRoy Peterson left, on Sunday to be with the family. The funeral will s be held on Wednesday. twin brother, Glen was killed in an automobile accident last fall, in the Price area.
