Show LD Singers Ready Spring Concert MANTI MESSENGER 2 Thursday, April 3, 1975 The LD Singers will perform on April 10th at C:30 p.m. at the LDS Institute in Ephraim. If you are in need of an evening filled with fun, where you can just sit down and jive with some talented perform- - Manti High Musicians Garner Top Awards competition at North Sanpete March 26, Manti High took top honors in the small groups festival, scoring a total of 198 points as compared with North Sanpetes 194. The Leslie Higbee duet was rated as the outstanding vocal ensemble, Leslie being the outstanding vocalist. Teena Black was hailed as the outstanding instrumentalist and Stacey and Paula received the outstanding rating for their flute duet. Ann Rae Rasmuson was nominated for the outstanding pianist. A CONTEST ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS & Clues may be hidden in ads below or in the ads of the sponsoring firms elsewhere in the paper. clues will be hidden in news columns, editorial matter or classified ads, just in display ads of the sponsoring merchants in this section and elsewhere in the paper. 1. This is a family contest. Entries are welcome from every member of the family old enough to fill out their own entry. Anyone may enter except employees of the paper or members of their immediate families. You may submit one entry per person at any of the sponsoring merchants whose ads appear in the left hand side of this ad below the arrow. 2. Nothing to buy, use any slip of paper for entry blank. Not necessary to be present to win. Not necessary to be a subscriber to the paper. 3. The Mystery Personality may be anyone in the Manti, Ephraim, Sterling area. Clues to his identity will be hidden ONLY in the ads of the sponsoring merchants, which may include any of the same merchants in the area below or elsewhere in the paper. Many ads have no clue; some as many as five. This is a contest of skill and we intend to do our best to outwit you. 4. To enter, write the name of the person you believe to be the Mystery Personality on a piece of paper. Also list all the clues you can find in all the ads of sponsoring merchants. Put No NEIGHBORS Read These Rules Over Look For the Clues I Then . . . DEPOSIT YOUR ENTRIES WITH THESE 6 MERCHANTS LISTED BELOW, THIS WEEK! 7 down your name and address and telephone number. Mailed entries will not be accepted, they must be placed in the entry boxes located at one or more of the designated merchants for that week. Don't bring entries to the paper office, please. 5. This week's contest starts when you receive this issue of the paper and closes Saturday night of the same week when the stores close. 6. As soon as the boxes are picked up (Monday morning) a drawing will be held from the combined entries. The first entry drawn that correctly identifies the Mystery Personality will win a $7.50 Merchant Certificate. If that entry also lists all the clues, and no more, hidden in the various ads of the sponsoring merchants, a BONUS of a $14.50 Merchant Certificate will be added. Whenever this BONUS is not won, it will be added to the next week's bonus which will continue to grow until it is won. All Merchant Certificates must be used within one week from the time the winner is notified and can only be redeemed at one of the sponsoring merchants stores. 7. The contest will run for 16 weeks. Family participation gives you a better chance to win. Your wife, husband, or one of your youngsters may spot a clue you missed. GOOD HUNTING. |
