Tribune Intermountain Wire BOUNTIFUL— Mrs Frances Phyllis Smith 42 wife of Jesse W Smith of 2254 Madison avenue Ogden died Saturday at 11:25 a m in a Salt Lake hospital of injuries received Friday in a motor vehicle collision south of Bountiful Mrs Smith suffered a skull fracture broken collar bone face lacerations and internal injuries Seriously Injured Two other passengers of the car were Injured seriously Mr Smith the driver and a fourth passenger escaped with minor hurts Still in St Mark’s hospital Saturday night were Orson Spencer of the same address as Mr Smith and Mrs Lavina Coombs of 2246 Madison avenue Ogden Mr Spencer a former resident of Salt Lake City suffered fractures of the nose left cheek bone and left arm Mr Coombs suffered a broken right arm and severe lacerations of the left hand Mr Smith was treated for face lacerations and then released from the hospital Also released after treatment was Mrs Spencer who suffered head and face lacerations The five were hurt when their southbound sedan struck the rear of a truck driven by E Anderson of 3226 South Second (300) Weet street Salt Lake county The entire top of the sedan was torn off said Davis county sheriff’s deputies and state highway patrolmen who investigated Mr Anderson the truck driver was unin- jured Native of England Mrs Smith was born in Blaxto England May 18 1898 a daughter of George and
