We have advertised for Volunteers through every news media available and the result has not been as good as we had hoped. I believe reasons that there are several for this which I will not mention, but I feel that the time has come we can have for me to explain just what a Volunteer Service can do for Central City (hopefully with program presently at the Center, when I talk about a program for Senior Citizens I am talking about Senior Citizen’s that are SHUT IN’S, that nobody gives a damn about whether they are still alive or not, they need help with house cleaning, laundry, shopping and some only need a visit from someone once the his house, in a while to show it continued fellow man and all we ask is to be accepted, Central City might need us, but remember, that we need you too, so why not please try to accept us and help us to be accepted? Wordpower will give publicity and coverage to any organization or group dedicated to helping the community and _ eleminating discrimination and prejudice ~ Don’t miss this opportunity to reach over 40,000 readers.
