The new facility offers an RV dump, fresh water, air for tires, one automatic car wash bay and four self-service bays that use the latest technology and environmentally safe soaps and polishes. Coupons for the car wash can be purchased at the Maverik in Eden, or the Chevron in Huntsville. Laundromat offers the newest industrial size washers and dryers, and arcade and vending that can be used while you wash your car or your clothes, blankets, and rugs. Eden Planning Task Force Requests Volunteers By Eden Planning Committee The Eden Planning Committee is forming a task force of volunteers to lead a formal planning effort addressing the Valley Junction commercial area. The task force will use a formal planning methodology, called a design charrette, which solicits a good deal of public input, uses computer technology to create meaningful visuals, and is likely to result in formal requests to Weber County for their support in modifying zoning and zoning ordinances. Anyone with experience in this type of planning is encouraged to contact Steve Katide Anderson at Pine Mountain Sun and Beauty located in the car wash plaza. Clarke at 745-1348. The inexperienced but willing are also invited to contact Steve, as there will be many opportunities to assist with this exciting process. If this work develops a satisfying “master plan” the work will be continued to other parts of the Eden area. This work is urgent as current landowners in the area are making development plans now using current zoning and zoning ordinances. One of the first steps in the process will be to envision what the area will probably look like fully built out using current laws, and then to envision alternative development that might be more appealing to residents and landowners.
