He will speak at the Eden II Ward on February 23 at 12:40. He leaves February 26 for the MTC. Hunter Justin Torman, son of Justin and Jori Torman of Eden was born on December 14, 2002 at 10:47 p.m. Hunter weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches long. Sister Zena Manley, daughter of Dolores and Richard Manley of Eden has been called to serve in the Tennesee Knoxville Mission. She spoke in the Nordic Valley Ward on January 12. Meredith and Charles D. Richardson of Huntsville had a baby girl on December 14, 2002. Weddings McDonald – Aardema Russell Todd Aardema of Roy, and Brenda Lee McDonald of Huntsville, have chosen Saturday, February 1, 2003 to be united in marriage. The wedding will be held at the Huntsville LDS church at 5:00 p.m. A reception will follow, where guests will be greeted until 7:30 p.m.. Sister Andrea Evans Sister Andrea Evans, daughter of Michelle and Richard Evans of Eden has been called to serve in the Yekaterinburg Russia mission. She spoke in the Nordic Valley Ward on January 12. Sister Evans leaves for the MTC on January 29. Russ graduated from Weber High School. He is employed at Thiokol. Brenda graduated from Salmon High School in Idaho. She worked at the South Fork Garden Center in Huntsville until it closed in October. She is now employed at Medsource in Layton. The union will bring together the couple’s five children; Kelsey Kay Aardema, Kolby Todd Aardema, Jason Michael McDonald, Jessica Mae McDonald, and Justine Janae McDonald. Montgomery Norman and Joyce Montgomery of Huntsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on January 16, 2003. An open house will be held in their honor on Sunday, January 26 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Stake Center, 6450 E. 1900 N., Eden. The couple were married on January 16, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by President David O. McKay. Norman worked as a dairy farmer and bus driver for many years, was active in the Weber County Farm Bureau, and was a member of the board of directors for Weber Basin Water. Joyce started teaching piano lessons when she was 17, and is still teaching 28 students. She has also been involved in many community activities. They are active members in the Middlefork LDS Ward, and have served in many organizations, including Norman serving as bishop. Their children and their spouses are Ron and Jeanie Montgomery, Julie and John Lund, Linda and David Knowles, and Larry and Denise Montgomery, all of Huntsville. Norman and Joyce also have ten grandchildren. In Honor of Those Who Serve Seaman Recruit Eric Hoffman has recently graduated from boot camp at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. Eric is currently undergoing his two-week basic seamanship course, and upon completion, will be stationed at North Island San Diego for additional training. The son of Mike and Sue Hoffman from Eden, Eric is a graduate of Weber High.
