New building opposite the General Store at Eden Park What Makes Ogden Valley Montessori School Unique? In Montessori schools, learning is not focused on rote drill and memorization. Our goal is to develop students who really understand their schoolwork. Montessori students learn through hands-on experience, investigation, and research. They become actively engaged in their studies, rather than passively waiting to be spoon-fed. Montessori schools are warm and supportive communities of students, teachers, and parents. Children don’t get lost in the crowd. Montessori consciously teaches children to be kind and peaceful. Montessori is designed to recognize and address different learning styles, helping students learn most effectively. We challenge and set high expectations for all our students, not just a special few. Montessori students strive for their personal best, rather than compete against one another for the highest grade in their class. 5 mornings a week: $250 a month 5 full days a week: $350 a month 5 afternoons a week: $150 a month (ideal for Kindergarteners also attending Valley Elementary) For more information, call Amanda Scheuermann, Director, at 745-3336 or 391-1656. www.ovms.org J.
