Show Volume VI, Issue VII THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Page 5 July 15, 2002 Fellowship Bible Church Groundbreaking On Sunday, June 16, 2002, the members of Fellowship Bible Church had the privilege of breaking ground for their new church building on Highway 162 in Liberty. Some of its members have waited since their childhood to see this event take place. Fellowship Bible Church is a nondenominational fellowship and was started in February of 1999 by missionary pastor, Dominic Gonino, sent by Biblical Ministries Worldwide in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The congregation has been meeting for three and a half years in the band room at Snowcrest Junior High School. Pastor Gonino hopes that construction will completed in nine to twelve months. “We look forward to having our own ‘church home’ to better serve this community through our children, youth and adult ministries. Are you cleaning out your basement or moving? Donate your items to the 4th Annual Charity Garage Sale of Huntsville! One hundred percent of all proceeds go directly to three charities: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah, Columbia Ogden Regional Bereavement Foundation, and McKayDee Bereavement Foundation. Items not sold will go to the YCC Abuse Shelter and Deseret Industries. Elizabeth Stitt of Huntsville organizes the garage sale each year in memory of several valley children who have passed away. The garage sale will be held Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3, at 9520 East 400 South in Huntsville from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All are invited to browse a huge variety of great items. In the past, 20 to 30 families have donated items. This year, so far, organizers have collected furniture, sports equipment, clothing in great condition (including some antique clothing), shoes and boots, craft items, dishes, appliances, seasonal decorations, and books (some antique). If you wish to donate items to the garage sale, please contact Elizabeth Stitt at 745-4012 for pick up. Then follow the signs to a great sale for a good cause!
