Show THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Page 16 Volume V, Issue IX February 15, 2002 Eden Student Selected as Mr. Warrior for the 2001-02 School Year Weber High students recently enjoyed a week of competition and fun when eight Senior “guys,” nominated Brady Fuller by the student body, vied for the coveted title of Mr. Weber. Two Warriors from Ogden Valley were honored after the votes were tallied. Brady Fuller of Eden was award- ed the title of Mr. Weber, 2001-02; and Alan Huggard, Huntsville, was chosen by the other seven contestants as Mr. Congeniality. Each day throughout the proceeding week leading up to the selection, contestants competed in events and activities held during lunch hour. The competitive action included cake decorating, makeovers on a girl of the contestants’ choice, and an obstacle course race, ran while eating Twinkies! On the final day, contestants were the stars of a school assembly where each were judged and ranked according to their talent selection and performance, and by how well they carried themselves in the swimsuit, and evening wear competition. The swimsuit competition seemed to be the favorite of the audience, along with the eveningwear. Their were definitely some surprises with these performances! It was an awesome sight to see eight young Warriors all looking their very best on stage. Other contestants included Craig Munford, 1st attendant; Swede Olsen, 2nd attendant; Brian Hansen; Luke Larsen; Nic Spendlove, formerly of Huntsville; and Ian Miller. Congratulations to all of these great guys, and especially to Brady and Alan.
