(Kids Intuitive Dynamic Sensational) After School Program. The Ogden Valley Branch of the Weber County Library System will be sponsoring an “after school program” every Wednesday immediately following school at 3:45 p.m. beginning September 6, 2000. October 20 – 30: Eccles Dinosaur Park will host the “Haunted Dinosaur Park” from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There will be over 300 jack-o-lanterns to light the way, and volcanoes spewing fire. The park will come to life with goblins, wizards, witches and other Halloween creatures. The park will still be open during regular business hours, Monday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate “normal” people. Those looking for the frights at night should join us for our “Haunted Dinosaur Park.” October 27: Voter Registration officers will be at the Ogden Valley Library on October 27, and October 30. This is a good time to register to vote if you are not currently registered. If you have a new address or name since the last election, you will need to reregister. October 27: Halloween Dance at Snowcrest Jr. High from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. October 28 – 29: “Spirits on Parade” Rainbow Gardens will be hosting six psychic reader; tarot, crystal ball, reiki, numerology, astrology and aura from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tickets are $25, normally $50. October 28 - 30: Fourteenth Annual Bison Roundup, Antelope Island. Call 773-2941. October 29: Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour. Daylight savings ends. Come join us at the Ogden Valley Library for a series of FREE concerts. All programs are on Monday evenings, light refreshments will be served. “Oktoberfest” Salzburger Echo Band brings the Alps to Ogden Valley. Concert will be hosted in the Auditorium. Authentic German and Austrian food will be for sale by Irene Thompson, owner of Edelweiss European Deli in Layton. November 2 - December 30: “Oils”, an Exhibit featuring the works of the local artist Joan McKinney, will be on display at the Ogden Valley Library.
