The majority of building in Weber County would be at Earl’s Village, which is near the existing lodge, at more than 1,500 units. To the southeast of that will be 500 units, and more than 300 units will be near Highway 39. About 80 percent of Snowbasin’s land in Weber County will be open space. Liz is a local Utah artist living in Roy with her husband Chuck and their dog Sammie. Her love of art began as a child. She would spend hours drawing and doodling. She loves working with various media, often incorporating found objects and unusual textures into her work. She has taught several mini collage workshops in the gallery and her home studio. Gallery 25 is the primary venue for the unique jewelry she makes using pieces of paintings, beads and wire. She is a member of the Utah Watercolor Society, the Ogden Palette Club, and a charter member of Gallery 25 (open since 2003). She has won awards and has been accepted into many local shows including Eccles Community Art Center, Utah Watercolor Society, and the Palette Club of Ogden. She remembers taking her daughter to the Musee d’Orsay in Paris about ten years ago.
