Show Page 6 The Ogden Valley news Volume XIV Issue XV May 15, 2007 Announcements Weddings First Holy Communion Saint Florence Catholic Church First Holy Communion The celebration of First Holy Communion for St. Florence 2005 was held on May 7, 2006. The group received the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, a practice which dates back to the Last Supper when Jesus Christ shared his Last Supper with the Twelve Disciples. Father Cummins served the sacrament to each child after the instruction of prayers and lessons of Jesus Christ. Special thanks to Sue Hoffman, Sherry Smith, Father Cummins, and the other teachers who helped in making this celebration of the First Holy Communion for the boys and girls. Family members from Ogden Valley and different cities from all over the United States came to take part in the celebration. Kristie and Dustin Williamson Sharlie and Nathan Bingham Huddle-Williamson Layton - Bingham James and Corrina Huddle of Eden, Utah are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Kristie Lee Thomas to Dustin Williamson, son of Jerry and Antoinette Williamson of Harrisville, Utah. The couple will be married on May 19 at the Huddle home in Eden with a reception to follow. Kristie has chosen Kelly Abendschoen as her maid of honor and April Kinslind, Kristie Rittman, Michelle Deanda, and Lana Barker as her bridesmaids. Dylan Williamson will serve as bestman and Matt Wayment, Matt Wymer, David Thomas, and Lance Huddle as his groomsmen. Kristie graduated from Littlestown High School in Pennsylvania. She is attending Weber State University, as is working towards attending the Nursing program. She is currently employed by the Ogden Clinic. Dustin graduated from Fremont High School. He is attending Weber State University working on a degree in Engineering. He is currently employed by Fresenuis. The couple will travel to Mexico in August for their honeymoon, and will return to reside in Ogden, Utah. Sharlie Layton and Nathan Bingham will be married on June 9, 2007 in the Bountiful LDS Temple with a reception to be held later that evening at the Layton home in Huntsville. The bride is the daughter of Brad and Cathie Layton of Huntsville. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Rosann Bingham of Huntsville. The bride graduated from Weber High School and Seminary. Sharlie is employed at Valley Market as a checker. The bridegroom graduated from Weber High School and Seminary. He Shown but not in order: Breanna Barilec, Mitchell Benjamin, Jack Boomer, Vanessa served his mission in the Ribeirao Preto, Dunn, Jesse Guidry, Jacobi Iseminger, Kai Pombo, Michael Schelling, Jack Stauder, Brasil Mission. Nathan is employed at Alexis Wendell, Sophia Yubero, Father Charles Cummins and Sue Hoffman. the Valley Market as a Butcher. The new couple will make their new home in Ogden after a honeymoon to St. George, Utah. Missionaries Found: A Valley Elementary student found a paper bag filled with medals. William McKay Elder William Hale McKay, son of Chad and Wendy Hale McKay of Huntsville, has been called to serve in the Russia Moscow West Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.
