Colonel Ramsdell has served with U.S. and NATO militaries, various U.S. intelligence agencies, and the U.S. Department of State. He had the opportunity to work in support of the first Reagan- -Gorbachev Moscow Summit. His uss Ramsdell currently lives in Layton, Utah with his wife Bonnie, and their two cats Ralph and Koshka.
