Show THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS“ Page 18 January 1, 2007 Santa Visited Ogden Valley Changes at Eats of Eden It has been almost fifteen years since the Eats of Eden plaza opened. We started with just the Eats of Eden restaurant and a small, single office space, and now the Eat’s Plaza has grown to accommodate several businesses including Valley Hair Company, Metro the kitchen area. One of the changes we incorporated was the menu. Eats of Eden still has the same great sandwiches, pastas, burgers and pizzas, but has also added some new items, including two new specialty pizzas—the Meatball and the Ranch. These new items now join our standard BBQ Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizzas. Yes, peanut butter and jelly—try it before you say “ick!” Due to customer request, traditional Buffalo Wings have also been added to the menu along Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Ok Buffalo Burger that began as an Eat’s special, has now made its way onto our menu full time. A Little Buckaroo Favorites section has also been added for our younger diners. These are just a few of the many changes that have taken place since Eats of Eden first opened. In November 2005, building and renovation began on the front of the restaurant. The new remodel incorporates both booths and tables to accommodate groups of many different sizes, and to provide greater flexibility for our customers. Mother and daughter, Tanya MacFarland and Jayne Christiansen The dining room has been redone with a country western theme—complete with a stone fireplace and genuine steer skin rug. It all makes for a cozy and friendly atmosphere. A private room for parties of 15 to 20 is now available, along with a reception, waiting, and “to go” area for customers’ convenience. With the completion of the dining room in November 2006, attention was then turned to Shortly before the 2002 Olympics, Eats was granted a beer license; we now selection of wines that have been specially selected by our wine consultant from Young’s Marketing Company who helped pair an assortment of wines to complement our menu items. The Eats menu now has a great combination of long time favorites and fun new offerings. The community is warmly invited to come in to Eats of Eden and try something new; or, perhaps, enjoy your old favorites! Whatever your taste, we have something for everyone.
