This project had been stalled due to engineering problems causing the re-approval for the reservoir. The problems on the north wall of the reservoir have been oe and the reservoir is currently bei filled. The conditions for the reapproval were that the re-seed and landscaping be completed within thirty days. Eden planning thought the current conditions were not the best for planting and getting the desired results. The Ogden Valley Planning Commission gave Wolf Creek an additional 60 days to complete the planting since all were in agreement that the current conditions are not ideal for the planting of new trees and the hydro seeding process due the heat. Eden Planning agrees that the reservoir should be finished and landscaped to better blend the location to the hillside. The Planning Commission voted unanimously for the re-approva of the conditional use permit. Chemical use and storage were another concern. The main chemical in the cleaning of the facility and equipment is chlorine bleach and the required safe guards will be built into the building to prevent and contain spills as per current regulations. Commissioner Rounkles brought up the concern about power losses in the valley and what would be the result to the plant and sewage control. Mr. Rasmussen detailed that the current ponds would be retained for such emergencies and no sewage would have to be discharged untreated from the plant with these working ponds in place, then the sewage would be reintroduced to the plant for treatment after the power was restored. He also detailed the generator that would be in place in case of such emergencies. Landscaping issues were discussed with Eden Planning and the Planning Commission. The current ordinance requires planting of conifers around the northern area of the plant to help with the aesthetics of the building. The outside of the building will be predominantly natural, muted earth tone colors. This meets the ordinance requirements. Conditional Use Permit # 20-2006 for Wolf Creek Properties to construct and operate a Waste Water Treatment Facility at approximately 4800 Willow Brook Lane. The Eden Planning Committee had concerns with the roof pitch being only 3/12, the committee suggested a more appealing 4/12 pitch to the roof and adding cupolas or dormers to the facility to make it look more like the barn type building Wolf Creek was going for. Wolf Creek Designers agreed to a roof pitch increase to 5/12 although the increase in height of the roof could then come a concern. The Eden Committee found out later from the county that because of the overhead crane that will be used in the building for maintenance of the equipment inside The Conditional Use Permit was approved by unanimous vote by the Ogden Valley Planning Commission.
