Also surviving are one brother, Melvin Rogers; two sisters, Lillian Johnson and Marilou Sorensen; brother and sisters-in-law, Beth Kirkman, Joyce Ogden, Ray and Marge Ogden, Elgia Ogden, and Dale Anderson. She is survived by her best friends Fern Manning and her dog Tucker. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands Edward LeRoy and Raymond; two brothers, Harold Rogers and Dr. LaMar Rogers; and one sister, Ella Barnum. The family wants to thank Teresa from Rocky Mountain Hospice for the care that was shown to Irene at the end of her life. Funeral services were held Monday, December 12, 2005 at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery. Send condolences to family at <www.myers-mortuary.com> Alice Maycock Shaw Alice Maycock Shaw, a 71 year-old Rupert, Idaho resident, passed away December 19, 2005 at her home of cancer. She was born July 20, 1934 in Pleasant View, Weber County, Utah to Marshall W. and Maud LaVon Taysom Maycock. Alice spent her childhood in Pleasant View and attended Weber College in Ogden, Utah. She married Dean Shaw in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple on October 30, 1953. They lived in Liberty, Utah and Rupert Alice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held positions in Primary, Relief Society, Young Women, Stake Auxiliary, Sunday School, and Cub Scouts. She also served at the Family History Center. She was a member of the Harmonettes Singing Group, Womens Recreational Softball League, Burly Music Club, and Desert Art Guild. Her hobbies were painting in oil and water color, gardening, sewing, and quilting. She enjoyed the mountains, sports, and being with her family. Alice is survived by her husband, Dean B. Shaw of Rupert. She is also survived by her children: Susan Pau) Aston of Burley, Idaho; Blaine (Tia) Shaw of Liberty, Utah; Karen (Ron) Dille of Riverdale, Utah; Lorna (David) Phillips of Paul, Idaho; Nowell (Jodi) Shaw of Nampa, Idaho; Amy (Rob) Miller of St. George, Utah; and Kaye (Tom) Rhoades of Morgan, Utah. Also, 24 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandsons; brother Lynn J. (Jenette) Maycock; and sisters Beverly (Greg) ae = (Kenny) Hicks, and Manta (Jeff)D: She was preceded in death by beet i, a stillborn son; and brother Dale (Maxine) aycock. The family would like to thank the Minidoka Home Health Care. Funeral services were held December 22, 2005 at Acequia Ist LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop James McBride officiating. Burial followed at the Rupert Cemetery. Lyle Ray Johnson Lyle Ray Johnson, 84, died December 18, 2005 at his home. He was born August 15, 1921 in Bear River City, a son of Arnold Lawrence and Stella Andersen Johnson. He married Madge Hunsaker and they were later divorced. He then married LaRue Bradbury and she died in 1971. Lyle was a Veteran of the Army, was a member of the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Elks, and the LDS Church. Surviving are his loving companion Carol Hatch; four step-children: Jim Bradbury of Alaska, Linda Greenwood of St. George, Brent Bradbury of Eden, and Judy Nelson of Corinne; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters: Non Johnson of Reno, Nevada, 7 ot of Ogden, and Juanita Nyquist of Hyru He was preceded in — by his parents; wife; his brother Duke; his three sisters: Mona, th, and Gloria; and his son Lyle Craig. Interment, Roy City Cemetery Condolences may be sent to is family at <www.myers-mortuary.com> <www.myers-mortuary.com> John Dean Campbell Together Again John Dean Campbell, 85, passed away Monday, December 12, 2005 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He was born December 6, 1920 in Roy, Utah, close to where Roy High School stands today. He was one of fourteen children born to Raleigh Helaman and Effie Ballentine Campbell. He grew up in Juniper, Idaho before returning to Roy where he lived most of his life. In his later years he was a familiar sight to many there, riding his three-wheeled bicycle around own. He joined the Navy at the start of WWII and was moved to the Marines where he served as a medic. He saw combat at Tarawa, Saipan, and Tinian. He received two Silver Star medals for his gallantry in recovering wounded soldiers from fire during battle. arried Anny Margaret Jacobsen on December 15, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Anny passed away June 18, 2001. John and Anny were one pair of three brothers who married three sisters. He was a devoted father and husband. In her later years, Anny contracted Alzheimer’s and John cared for her patiently as she declined. He visited her daily for hours during her long nursing home years. John was a Fifty Year member of the Carpenter’s Union, and labored on many large commercial buildings and several buildings at Weber State. John was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- acd a ts. His grandchildren were his pride and Surviving are his son noha D. (Lillian) Campbell Jr., Plain City; and eight grandchildren: Carolanne, Crystal (Keaton) Smith, Carma, Brandon, Melody, Stacy, Katey, and Tiffany. Also surviving are brothers and sisters Viola W.
