Price Ellen Burton Price passed away peaceful Wednesday, March f im .. 23, 2005 due to a stroke at the age of 98. She was born Lae a October 28, 1906 in Afton, Wyoming, a Ellen Burton Price daughter of Thomas Fielding and Alice Maud Call Burton. She was the fifth of 13 children. She had many ancestors who came across the plains and was proud of her pioneer heritage. Ellen married Charles William Price of Ogden on September 17, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in October of 1983 as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and still attended church regularly. She served as ward chorister for many years. She worked at Defense Depot Ogden where she was a supervisor of telecommunications at the time of her retirement. Ellen had been active in politics and the Daughters of Utah Pioneers when her children were young. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. She loved to play the piano and organ. Ellen was proud of her good health throughout her life. Surviving are two daughters, Ellen Charlene Price (David) Tschaggeny and Carol Jean Price (John) Gerber; and her much loved 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Wilson Leonard Robert Wilson, 77, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at a local care center. He was born January 10, 1928 in Ogden, g son of Leonard Josh and Elida G. West Haven; and — sunsets and sunrises. Interment at Morgan South Cemetery. Send condolences to the family at <www.leavittsmortuary.com> Patricia Ann Tatro Bockas Born January 2, 1933 to Helen W. and Lester Tatro in Ogden, Utah. Died April 2, 2005 at her home in Eden. “God saw that she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around her and whispered, “Come with me.” With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, busy little hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. It’s lonesome here without you, we miss you so each day. Our lives aren’t the same, since you went away. When days are sad and lonely, and everything goes wrong. We seem to hear you whisper, “Cheer up and carry on.’ Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, “Don’t cry, I'm in God’s keeping, we'll meet again someday.” Pat married Jack Bockas in July 1953 and they were together until Jack’s death in January 1984. Pat and Jack were soul mates and best of zles, games, walking, gambling, wind chimes, and entertaining. Pat loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Pat and Jack enjoyed traveling. They especially loved the island of Hawaii and the Windjammer Cruise to the Caribbean Islands. Pat also traveled to Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand. as preceded in death by her husband, mother, and father. She is survived by her four children and their spouses; Janet and Jim es Sherrie and Sanford Hall, Norman and Randy and Tammy Bockas. Also surviving are her eight grandchildren: Nichole, Katie, Briana, Tahnee, James, Gus, Annie, and Forrest; four sisters and three brothers and their spouses: Loretta (Putt) and Richard Nordquist, Jeane and Leslie Turner, Dick and Pat Tatro. Maxine Johns, Ronald Tatro, Don and Marilyn Tatro, and Nancy and Bob Osborne The family would like to thank those who helped take care of Pat in the last years of her life on earth; our angels: Jan, Linda, Jennifer, and Tammy. Pat is in a much better place and free from all the pain and suffering that she endured for such a long time. The family would also like to thank the wonderful people at Hospice for Utah: Emily, Fred, Sunnie, Maggie, Janet, Kathy, Jory, Bruce, Donna, Ann, Kevin, Lisa, Dr. Holland, and all the others who work behind the scenes. A memorial service was held on April 6, 2005 at Aaron’s Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd. Condolences may be extended to the family at <aarons@relia.net> Leonard served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean War. He was a sheet metal worker for many years. Leonard was a member of the Golden Spike Antique Car Club and ModelA Car Club. He liked horsed, old cars, and fishing. Surviving are his wife Bette of Ogden; tow sons and one daughter, Dennis Robert (Marcia) Wilson, Plain City; Steven Leonard (Shirlene) Wilson, Liberty; Tammie (Rodney) Deppen, Harrisville; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren Also surviving is one sister, Joie Laloli, gden. Preceding him in death were his parents and one granddaughter, Shannalee Deppen. Graveside services were held April 9 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial park, 4500 Washington Blvd. where Military Honors were accorded. Theodore “Teddy” Rodriguez Theodore “Teddy” Rodriguez, 48, beloved husband, father and friend was tragically taken from us on March 31, 2005. He was born May 26, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Salomon and Alice Rodriguez. He worked at Hill AFB for ten years and was currently working at Davis-Monthan AFB at AMARC for 11 years. Enjoying the outdoors, Teddy loved hunting, camping, fishing, riding horseback, riding motorcycles, and belonging to the local Harley Davidson Motorcycle club. Teddy’s ultimate love was spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Teddy was preceded in death by his in-laws, Clodoveo and Criseria Trujillo and brother-inlaw Jesse Trujillo. irvivors include his wife of 24 years, Irene; three sons, Romen Rodriguez, Ryan Rodriguez, Randy Rodriguez; sisters Athena (Roger) Karrer, Strongville, Ohio, Cynthia (Dave) Hambelton, Bell AFB, California; brothers Jerome Rodriguez, Clearfield, Utah and Matthew (Lesley) Rodriguez, Eden, Utah. Services were held April 5, 2005 at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Parish in Tucson, Arizona. Robert Peter Jensen Robert Peter Jensen (Bob), 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2005 surrounded by his children. He was a loving father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was s bom June 16, 1920 in SLC, Utah, a son of Peter C. and Nelchene Wallace Jensen. He was raised on a family farm in Huntsville, Utah where he helped to raise honeybees. He graduated from Weber High School. rt met his sweetheart, the late Athaleen Jensen, at a dance in Salt Lake City prior to serving his country in World War II. They soon married iin the Salt Lake Temple on March 22, 1943. Immediately after their wedding, he shipped off to serve for two years in the Philippines. Upon returning from war, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service then started Jensen Ice Company. Later in life he would work in real estate. He and his wife had four children: Ana Lee, Robert, Pat, and Jackie. He loved and supported his wife and children in all they did. He enjoyed camping and family parties. A fier retiring, he and his wife also loved taking their trailer to Arizona for the winter. His famous lines were, “Are we having fun yet?” and “Lets have a party. Robert was a member of the LDS Church and lived his life as a true Christian, always looking to help and lift those around him. s preceded in death by his wife Athaleen Waldron Jensen and his parents.
