Watching her own children grow made her want to help them and others. She went back to school with no question in her mind that teaching was what she wanted to do. Mrs. Halliday said she was very thankful she followed this dream. “Teaching has been good to me. Loving the kids *ceeps you going. They are inspiring. Their desire to learn, their cute little attitudes, and their humor; they are so loving. It’s the kids that keep you inspired.” Ann Halliday was born in Taylor, Utah and moved to the Valley in 1972 with her husband Dee. Together they have four children; two boys and two girls. One son lives in Georgia, the other son in Nebraska where he is finishing his master’s degree in family and marriage therapy. It taxes your energy.” She and her husband plan to do a lot of relaxing and to travel and visit their children.
