Piece of Mind Quilt Guild is part of the Utah State Quilt Guild. Members meet the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Ogden Valley Library. Heywood is a lifelong resident of South Ogden and studied at Utah State University. She recently was engaged to John Allen and is planning a wedding in Eden. OGDEN VALLEY BALLOON Custom Draperies Discount Award Weber High student Sadee Summers of Eden was recently presented with the school’s highest agricultural honor, the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by Monsanto Company. Sadee received the award for her excellence in academics, leadership, and agricultural work experience. Her accomplishments include being president for two years of the local FFA Chapter, receiving a State FFA degree, winning the CO-OP contest, and the State FFA Career Development event in food science and technology. Sadee is the daughter of Thom and Elise Summers.
