Friends is a nonprofit organization that was formed in 1998. The purpose of this group is to help preserve and protect the historical and ecological integrity of the Park. The event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday July 13, at the WMSP Visitor Center. The llamas, with their saddle bags, will be loaded with lunch fixings. The hike will be to 2 miles in Boulder Basin, which is located just off Pine Canyon Road. Lunch will be served in a meadow surrounded by aspen trees. There will be ample opportunity for additional hiking and exploration. The day hike and lunch is expected to last into the early afternoon. A narrative on the history of the area will be given by George Harness, long-tim- e resident of Midway. Harness has hiked all over the mountains and has many stories to tell about the days of mining at National Tournament louriument, and hy the end of those two weeks he had made some great new friends. The tournament was held in The Orlando. FL. June 25-2in took place right wrestling Disney World at the Wide World of Sports Arena. This was a team tournament, meaning that the team advanced on as they won their individual dual meets. 1 here were 23 teams participating in this National Tournament, from all over the United Slates. Some of the teams that Colt wres 8. Calendar of Events tled were from Virginia, Indiana, Montana, Florida, Colorado, Illinois, and two different teams from Ohio. Uintah was the only team representing Utah. Colt was honored to have wrestled with this team and they came home with third place medals, having only lost two dual meets. They lost to one of the Ohio teams hy one point, and to Illinois by only three points. They were all very hard fought and close matches. They also gave individual awards in each weight class. Colt was able to come home with an 1 record having only lost one match to an Ohio wrestler by a score of 4-The only points being scored were two by the Ohio wrestler and one escape by Colt. This sent Colt home with a second place medal in his weight class. This was a great experience for Coll, and one that he is very glad to have been able to participate in. He is now looking forward to foot- hall. Congratulations, Colt. boots or shoes and sun screen. A light jacket is recommended because of the high altitude. The kittens have takrn control and are issuing demands left and right including but not limited to, the finest canned cat foods, hourly pelting sessions, comfy blankrts to curl up on, and toys to play with. The adult cats are dearly embarrassed by the kittens undignified behavior. As a result, the shelter staff has taken the divide and conquer philosophy. Our only hope is to find Individual homes to lake each one in thus separating them and diluting their power. Please help us restore calm dignity to the cat room by adopting a kitten today. All of the animals at the shelter are wailing for new homes and would love to see you. If you are interested, please come to our shelter and visit these pets.
