The mayor made a trip to Ogden and got 10 more bags and Fred will get them spread on the edges of town in the next few days. Fred also mentioned that the city can get residents some bait if they are interested at 50 cents a pound. It is sold in 50 lb bags, so the cost would be $25 per bag. If you are interested in purchasing the bait, contact Mayor Lloyd sued by a few people by just talking to them about cleaning up their yards. The council agreed that his best action was to appeal to the Board of Adjusters because they cant give an extension on a expired conditional use permit They explained that the Board of Adjusters can override their a safety hazard and its important to keep your yard cleaned. Someone suggested they have a clean up day like they had a few years ago and have the city pickup trash. Fred said the only problem with that is that people didnt separate the metals from the wood, etc and they spent hours just separating it so they could haul it off. The Mayor said possibly another clean up day could be set On April 4, 2002, Eureka Elementary held a Science Fair. Almost every student from the 4th, and 6 grades had a science project. Not only that, they were well prepared and could tell you in detail about their science project and answer any questions. The Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade all had class projects that 5. they displayed.
