I have known the Mayor for about five years. In that time he has proven to be one of the most honest hard working persons that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Mayor Conder has always had the town of Eureka as a top priority. His dealings with the EPA has been exemplary. Mayor Conder has been very busy conducting the city business. Some things that he accomplished are as follows: 1. He has helped to secure the rights to the Tintic Junction well for the city. 2. He is working towards getting a feasibility study on the sewer system. 3. He has worked with the mining company to acquire roads. 4. He received access to funds to replace some of the sidewalks on Main Street. 5. He has spent many days updating city ordinances. 6. lie's currently working with the National Forest Service on obtaining firebreaks around the city. 7. He is a board member of the Juab County Special Fire District. Mayor Conder has been involved with the Eureka Elks Club for many years. He was elected Exalted Ruler twice.
