Show elks held lodge of sorrow last sunday IN t j patrick shea chas A coyle H W morse samuel bag bmg G W M nesbit john P luft james dunton f t the members of lodge no P 0 ells held memorial ser vices at I 1 0 0 F last sunday evening in honor of the eight brothers who have departed this life since the organization of the lodge the elks occupied seats upon the stage and the hall was crowded with people who had assembled to listen to the ful ritualistic service and the orther numbers upon the program the pro gram opened the selection d amour s and miss watles followed by the opening ceremony and roll call of the departed members this was followed by the quartette by mesdames and and beesley and phillips opening ode by the lodge solo by mrs I 1 F gose address by rev J J banks of the M E church violin solo by mrs damour eulogy by hon fisher harris and solo by frank morley the closing exercises were followed by a quartette consisting of beesley bonner ganty and morley the musical numbers upon the program were appropriate and in every instance beautifully rendered while the same can be said of the two addresses |
