At Girl State, die delegates will participate in mock political parties, widi city, county and state positions tilled by election. The girls will also participate in legislative and judicial sessions, tiling, campaigning, and voting. Additional activities include Journalism; Public speaking and debate; State Fair; Recreational activities; and Patriotic ceremonies. At the end of the sessions, two girls will be selected to represent their state as "Senators" at Girls Nation which will be held in Washington, D.C. in July. Here, delegates will learn the political process at a national level.
