She is 3 months old and ready to go to a new home. Also available are a nice heeler mix 14S8. a male Pyrenees 1520, a female black lab mix 1523, a small white and tan cocker spaniel mix 1504 and a basset mix 1503. Additionally, there arc two adult heeler mixes available. Zippy is a spayed female and Rocko is a neutered male. Both have all of their shots, are house broken, and would make great family pets or hiking companions. Other animals will become available soon, so come to the shelter and see what loving pets we have to offer. Spring is here once again and, as always, the shelter is seeing more and more litters of puppies and kittens. This is a yearly event that the staff both loves and despises. We love it because, like most pctoplc, we enjoy the cuddly pleasures of a new puppy or kitten. They are cute, playful, and put smiles on our faces. However, there is a very dark and very real side to this yearly onslaught of unwanted offspring. Hundreds of thousands of young puppies and kittens are euthanized by animal shelters every year. Shelters arc forced to do this because homes cannot be found for all of the animals and the they do not have the resources to keep the animals indefinitely. Nor is it considered humane to leave a dog or cat caged in a shelter for an extended period of lime. Stress lakes hi toll and as lime goes by the animal generally stans to display behavioral problems. This scenario can be seen at any shelter across the nation and there is only one way to stop it. Spay and neuter your pels. There are plenty of responsible, professional, breeders out there who lake care to breed for disposition, health, and other important factors. Accidental or irresponsibly bred litters of kittens and puppies only add to the amount of animals that need to be euthanized each year. Having your pet surgically sterilized ensures that accidents will not happen and contributes to the fight against pet ,L SHOW YOU MOW TO KIND INTRODUCTORY HOME EQUITY RATES u AND REFINANCE.
