Peery Sheldon Woodson Peery, age 68, of Provo (formerly of Eureka), passed awy Monday, July 3, 1995, of cancer at th University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born June 18, 1927 in Springlake, Utah to Glen Wood-so- n and Myrtle Hancock Peery. He married Leona "Joyce" Long on April 8, 1947 in Ely, Nevada. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 12, 1995, at the Santaquin Utah Stake Center, with Bishop Steven Pres- cott officiating. Interment was in the Santaquin City Cemetery. He was an original board member of the Central Utah Bowling Association from 1980 to 1989. He was inducted into the Utah County Bowling Hall of Fame in 1991. urvivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Joyce; sons: Max Woodson Peery of Provo; Ray Clark Peery of Orem; a daughter, Ann (Ronald) Storrs of Provo; one sister, Nona (Don) Hudson of Orem; six grandchildren and two Funeral services were held Friday, July 7, 1995, at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Provo. Interment was at the Payson City Cemetery with full military rites being accorded by the V.F.W. Post 4. Don G. Fryer Don Glenn Fryer, 70, died at Payson, Utah, Thursday, July 6, 1995. He was born May 18, 1925 at Collinston, Utah, a son of Glenn and Rosada Thompson Fryer. He married Mary Lynn Roberts, November 1 1 , 1989, at Spanish Fork, Utah. Bom and raised in Collinston, Utah. Graduated from Bear River High School in 1943. He worked his early years at farming. Don was a U.S. Naval veteran serving in World War II. Moved to Salt Lake City in 1953 and worked, driving truck, and as a salesman. Spent his last 6 years in Goshen with his beloved wife Mary. All friends and relatives are invited to call at their home and wish them well on this important occasion. Equalization board to meet in August Ruth B. Ross Ruth Alice Ross, 86, Santaquin, died Saturday, July 8, 1995, in Pay son, Utah. She was bom March 8, 1909, in Eureka, Utah, a daughter of Victor L. and Alice Chivrell Bray. Ruth married LaVon M. Ross Sr. April 20, 1926 in Salt Lake City. He died January 16, 1975. Ruth was a homemaker. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a Relief Society visiting teacher for many years and a member of the ward choir. She enjoyed doing beautiful hand work for the pleasure of giving to other people. Over the years, s failed calling friends on their birthdays. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include three sons and three daughters: LaVon (Maurine) Ross Jr., Santaquin; Roger (Teddi) Ross, Payson; Merril (Ann) Ross, Santee, California; Shirley Bowling, Preston, Idaho; Norma Jean Gardner Maxwell, Delta Jet., Alaska; Gloria Ore, Payson; 37 grandchildren, 43 and three Preceded in death by two sons: Richard and Clifford and four grandchildren. great-grandchildr- en, J f The Juab County Commission set the dates for the county Board of Equalization meetings. The three sessions will be held during the Month of August. They will meet in Nephi on August 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.; in Eureka on August 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and again in Nephi on August 31 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Those who intend to make an appointment with the county clerks office to meet with the commissioners, should also remember to bring documentation with them for claims they wish to make to the BOE.
