Fennell Duane Hales, 76, of Spanish Fork, died Sunday, March 1 1 , 1990, at his home He was born April 22, 1913, in Mammoth, to Edward Moroni and Annabelle Hodgson Hales. He married Lillian Bradford, June 14, 1937, in Las Vegas, NV. He received his education in Eureka and Spanish Fork schools. He attended Brigham Young University. He worked in the mines in Eureka and later at the air base in Salt Lake City during World War II. He owned and operated a farm in Spanish Fork. He worked on construe- at Geneva Steel as a car- penter. He retired as a general and mason. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Masonry Award for the year 1976 for work on the Park City High Schooland in 1980 for the Utah State Hospital for excellence in brickmason. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
