Show March 31. 1989 The Eureka Reporter Page Two Leonal King Leonal S. King, 83, of Provo, died Tuesday, March 2 1 , 1989, in Provo, of emphysema. Mr. King is the brother of Wanda Colovich of Eureka. He was born Dec. 29, 1905, in Moore, Idaho to Edward and Mena Holm King. He married Inez La V- ernArgyle, Nov. 10, 1925, in Provo, Their marriage was later solem- nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died July 10, 1981. The committee was disappointed that Warren Holman cannot make arrangements for the Classic Cars this year, due to conflicting dates. Gary Garbett and Steven Malm-strohave formed a production company and gave the committee an update on the variety show they are working on for the Festival. These two young men have put a lot of thought into their participation in the annual celebration. A carnival for the kids is also included in their plans. At the suggestion of Pres. McNulty, the EIC will hold two meetings a month until the festival is well organized. The meetings in April ; Eureka Ladies of Elks met Tueswill be on the 12th (Wednesday) day evening for a regular meeting and the 24th (Monday). Remindwith President Fawn Fife presid- ers will be printed in the Eureka Eureka Improvement Committee, coordinating group for the 1989 Tintic Silver Festival, held the second planning meeting Monday evening at the Memorial Building. Members were gratified to learn that several more individuals and organizations have volunteered to head an activity for the celebration. Marelo Evans has volunteered to chair the parade committee; the Eureka Boy Scouts will, as usual, serve an early Saturday morning breakfast; Sunbeam Camp DUP members will be in charge of the Arts and Crafts; and the Ladies of Elks have tentatively planned a hamburger concession m Lady Elks ing.
