Show Free movies at Arts Park July 4 & 5 It is FREE movie time again this weekend in Spring-vill- c! On Friday, July 4, you can bring your friends and family to sec "Independence Day" on a giant screen at the Spring Acres Arts Park located just north of Spring-vill- e High School. On Saturday, July 5, the movie will be "The Emperor's New Groove. " The movies start at 9 concert p.m. with a at 8. The gate opens at 7 p.m. And there will be refreshments for sale or you can bring your own food. Springville City is providing this fun, family entertainment and invite everyone to come and have a good time under the stars. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets or there will be folding chairs available. Movies are shown on a giant screen with concert-qualit- y sound system. On Friday evening there will be musical entertainment before the movie by David Crenshaw and The Board of Directors. Sometimes described as "Steve Wonder and Harry Connick Jr. in a blender," Crenshaw and the Board bring a very unique blend of pop, jazz, blues and funk to their energetic performances. Audiences of all ages find the bands's enthusiasm infectious and the songs difficult to forget. They recently performed live on KUTV 2 and at the Thanksgiving Point Waterfall Amphitheater. Crenshaw lays his voice atop catchy melodies that remind the pre-sho- w cool-wat- er listener of the earlier roots of rhythm and blues music. Audiences find his enthusiasm infectious and his songs difficult to forget. His music lifts people and entertains them.
