To commemorate the feast of St. Bertille, the patronal feast of Sister Bertilde, the Superior of the College and Academy, the students presented the following program in the study hall on the afternoon of November 8th. Emge; Chorus In compliance with the request of Bishop Mitty, classes were dismissed at noon on Armistice Day. vember 13th. They attended in a body the Mass offered by Bishop Mitty for Bishop Glass and the deceased members of the Alumnae at the Cathedral of the Madeleine at nine in the morning. The. business meeting was called in the Social Hall of the college at three in the afternoon and presided over by Mrs. Evelyn Paddock Callahan. Later in the afternoon the Alumnae and guests spent a pleasant hour in the foyer and Music parlors in informal reception. was furnished during the entire evening chrysanthemums. Bishop Mitty, Monsgnor Hunt, Father Keefe and Mr. William M. Jeffers of Omaha were guests of honor. The President of the Association, Mrs. Evelyn Callahan, welcomed Bishop Mitty with gracious sincerity, after which she offered a loving tribute to Bishop Glass at which all rose and prayed silently for their loyal departed friend. The members of the St. Marys Alumnae Association met for their annual reunion and banquet at the new college on Saturday, No Miss Frances Phillips, the toastmaster of the evening, was then introduced and rose in every way to the occasion for gracious hos- Glinka-Balakieref- f, F.
