She was bom April 20, 1958 to Tfcrry Lynn and Mary Joyce Lockyer in Butte, Mont. She had worked as an organizational development specialist for Barrick Goldstrike. Lurene grew up in Whitehall, Mont She moved to Price after high school and later moved to Nwada. Bertha was bom July 2, 1913 to William Thomas and EIla Eu-- . gene Parmer Fanville and raised uiTfcxas. She lived with her par- - Vi .her husband in the Salt Lake LDS on Aug. 6, 1974. ;nqie In addition to a wife and being mother, she also had a successful business career. She was employed by the Singer Sewing .Company for several yean and later owned and managed floral shops and a craft store. Upon retirement, she owed to Randolph, Neb., and eventually to Boise, Idaho, where she resided until her death. Bertha was an excellent seamstress and avid gardener. She also enjoyed healthful cooking, quilting, flower arranging and politics. .She was affectionately referred to as Granny by many friends and family members. ItHboimie" Tbmeriin passed away , :on Monday, Nov. 11,2002, at the -- Phyllis Haggadone was bora Dec. 28, 1941 in Price to Virdis Ugeen and His unexpected death was a result of injuries sustained while serving as an active police officer in 1999. Kendall was bom, Nov. 20, 1955 to Fred and Louise Atwood of Spanish Fork. He was die seventh of eight children. He attended Spanish Fork schools, where according to him, he walked two miles in the snow, uphill both ways. He was active in a capella choir, Madrigals, the high school band. He sang and. played guitar in the rock band (Opus). He graduated from Span--, uh Fork High School, LDS Semie LDS nary and served a mission in Dallas, Tfcxas. full-tim- Kendall married his high school sweetheart, $iauna Reed, June 20, 1977 in Salem. They were later sealed for time and an eternity in the Provo LDS Tfemple. In niUillment of his lifelong dream and against his fathers advice, he attended the police academy in Salt Lake City and became a deputy sheriff in Carbon County. After being promoted to detective investigator, he found an opening in the Spanish Fork police department and got to move back home. Kendalls friendly personality and fun sense of humor opened many opportunities for service, including, but not limited to, meritorious awards, EMT service on the ambulance, scouting merit badge counselor, instruction, and his greatest love was working with die youth as their DARE officer. In May 1999, he was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery in the line of duty. After his medical retirement in 1999, Kendall enjoyed leisurely watching his grass grow, fishing, traveling with his family, making artistic items for his home and taking care his family. Kendall and Shauna are the parents of six children, Lisa (Leroy) Atkin, Stacy Reynolds, Christopher, Spencer and Heidi Atwood; and 10 beautiful grandchildren, each with a grandpa originated nickname. He is also survived by his mother, his sisters and brothers, Carol (Charles) Scholl, Doyle (Kathleen Peterson) Atwood, Jim Jana Lee Miller) Atwood, Janet .Jesse) McCurry, Lawrence (Fern LeBaron) Atwood and Ray (Sue Gilbert) Atwood. He was in death by his father and well-intend- ed " f .. i , son and brother, Kendall -- She enjoyed gardening, deco-Jratin-g ana spending time with her family. Survivors include her daugh-te- r, Amy Elliott of Boise, Idaho; mother, Mary Lockyer of Dflkm, 4" ' t. life are her daughter, Doris Hanna; four granddaughters, Sherrie Lewis of Bakersfield, CaliL; Shiela Andrews of Sioux fflb; SIX; Pam Juhaszand Debra Jensen, both of Boise, Idaho. She is also survived by 20 en and seven Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday, Nov. 15, at the Boise West LDS Stake Center, located at 3700 South Maple Grove Road. Aviewingwillbe Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the Retyea Funeral Chapel and Friday from lpm. until service time in the Relief Society room at the chapel prior to the services. Burial will follow at die Tfcrrace Lawn Cemetery. Afton Nonna (Tidwell) Winder. Married Elmer J. Haggadone on Nov. 10, 1967. Graduated East Carbon High School in 1960 and then attended Brigham Young Univer- . sity. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da-y Saints, and she gave her life to her church and others. Phyllis worked for Pacific Tfclephone few 16 years prior to retiring. Survived by husband, Elmer J. Haggadone; daughter WondraJ. . sister, Marian. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Spanish Fork LDS Stake Crater at 1006 East 200 South. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pjn. at WhUcerFfcmily Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, and on Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to services. Burial will be in the Evans. Preceded in death by hef ather, Virdis Ugeen Winder; and a brother and sister who dieo in infancy.
