with the US Department of Labor since 1966 He served as Denver regional administrator of the department's employment and ministering training administration since 1974 He administered the full range of federal Named Best Athletes training and employment programs in Colorado George Minick and Linda Deans were named CEU’s Dakota outstanding athletes at the annual Athletic Awards Banquet Monday night Montana North and South Utah and Wyoming 4 From Brown was adassociate ministrator of the Manpower administration (now Employment and Training 1972-197- Adminstration) May 15 Minick a freshman from Washington DC was cited for his outstanding ability and director of the US Em- ployment Service His included responsibilities overseeing operation of the 50 state employment services and their nearly 2400 local offices Brown’s previous experience included posts as commissioner of Minnesota Department of in both basketball and track and field He saw much action as a forward on the basketball
